I’m using android now. Let’s see if blogging through this phone can help me update my blog more often. Busy mom needs a smarter phone. Samsung galaxy it is.

The Art of Lego

My brother has always been very creative, he likes art so much. He draws, paints, does origami and builds things with his Lego.  Confined at Cardinal Santos Medical Center, we  brought some of his Lego pieces to play with. And he created these while I was checking my mails and tweeting.

Sports Car (“just like bumblebee”)

Laptop (“Just like Ate Intet’s”)

Camera with remote (“just like what Kuya Jay use”)

He has a dextrose bagging line on his left hand, he just used his right hand to make those (Karl is left-handed by the way).

Lovely isn’t it? I really hope he’ll be out of the hospital by tomorrow. Get wells soon Karl!

Shabby Pastels

Being stuck at home gives me a lot of time to surf the net and find new inspirations for my next projects. Thus, my addiction to this color palette.

I wanna run to the flea market, vintage shops, fabric & upholstery store, trinket shop, hardware and to my trusted furniture maker in Tagaytay.  Unfortunately, I cannot do all that with this current health condition. But let me just share with you my mood board.

…Claude Monet, Marie Antoinette, Alice in Wonderland, Classical Music, Ballet Dancers, Secret Garden, Prairie, Tea Party.

Now, I’m torn between Rachel Zoe and Rachel Ashwell.

I’ve been wanting to have a new camera, My Sony point and shoot from the Jurassic era has reached its retirement stage. An Olympus Pen is what I’ve been eyeing for a year now but have always slash it from my shopping list. I just find that Micro 4/3 type of cameras are too damn expensive for my type of photography.

After 1 year… Olympus E-PL1 reached my hands. But more than the fine features of the camera, I really like the “vintage” feel Olympus Pen has. Aesthetics is v. important.

Somebody… a good merchant actually and his middleman gave me a good deal, It was just so hard to resist. 🙂

Celestina = Chic

My usual internet surfing landed me to Barneys NY site. I felt nothing but pride seeing this chic Katipunan table top from Celestina starred their homepage.

Celestina was launched in 2006 by the Filipina model turned retailer/designer Tina Maristela-Ocampo, which initially started with an exquisite line of handbags (minaudiere)  and fine jewelry  using indigenous materials like shells and shagreen now they have other home accessories such as trays, frames and table tops.
