My friend Ruth tied the knot last friday, December 10, 2010 and I did her hair and make up for this special day.
I used airbrush foundation on her face and hand worked the rest of the makeup. Taupe and browns were used as eye colors and for her lips, I combined 3 shades to get this beautiful red-orange shade. Perfect for her fair complexion.
Here’s the look.
Makeover of some entourage members using traditional make up.
Since the bride is a good friend of mine, I am expected to attend the wedding ceremony and reception as well, but as a guest. So, here’s my look for Ruth and Lito’s wedding: Dress from Tyler (it was love at first sight) paired with black satin shoes and gold sequined clutch. What do you think?
The preparation was at Bellevue Hotel, Ceremony and Reception at Fernbrook Gardens, Alabang. I wish I could post some more shots from the wedding, but their official photos were not released yet. Maybe soon. Best wishes to Ruth and Lito!
For my friend’s wedding yesterday, I wanted big locks for my hair but I didn’t have enough time to curl my hair properly. So it looked more like I just came out of bed. Before the reception started, I twist and turn my hair into a simple bun and here’s the result.
The brooch I bought from Landmark came handy, instant hairpiece.
I also did the bride and some of the entourage member’s hair and makeup, will post outputs soon! 🙂
A very busy week was capped off with a pre-nup shoot last saturday of my friend Ruth and her fiance Lito. Venues were Fernbrook Gardens, Alabang and Fantasy World in Tagaytay.
Ruth has 3 layouts in mind, one of which is Victorian/Royalty theme and the Fernbrook provided the perfect backdrop and gave that “Romeo and Juliet” feel. Here are some of my snapshots.
I wasn’t able to get shots from the 2 other layouts, I’ll just wait for Smartshots’ outputs. Anyway, I did two looks on Ruth, a bridal day and glam/regal look. I airbrushed her face and cheeks (foundation and blush) and the rest of the make up was done by hand.
